Containers is a Stage in Gang Beasts.
Overview[]
Containers takes place in the harbour of Beef City.
The playable area of this stage consists of two large shipping containers which are precariously suspended above water by cranes.
Players can enter the containers through various doors - Each end has two doors which swing out to open, while each side also has a pair of sliding doors.
Hazards[]
The main Hazard of this stage is the large Death Barrier located below both containers, meaning that falling or being thrown off of the containers is the main way to be defeated.
The containers themselves do move around a lot, the cranes that hold them occasionally rotating to move them around, often bashing them together.
Likely the most interesting element of this stage however are the Breakable Cables which connect the containers to the frame that the crane actually holds up. As is often the case, breaking these cables will cause drastic changes to the map, and only 2-3 cables need to be broken for a container to get detached and fall into the water.
Escalation[]
Containers does not currently have an escalation.
Trivia[]
- Containers was added in the 0.1.5 update
- The upcoming Crane map may be one of the cranes which holds up these containers, or at least one of a similar design.
- Several other Stages can be seen in the background of this stage by rotating the camera
- Towers and Girders can be seen clearly.
- Gondola itself and the building it (and Elevators) takes place on can be seen, though another building is mostly in the way.
- Though obscured by pink fog, Lighthouse can be seen in the distance.
